Neighboring Systems

January 2019-present
Neighboring Systems is a publishing and events platform as a means of gathering people and ideas. We make books and events that reflect our interests in poetry, art, and hybrid, cross-disciplinary works, and through our projects, strive to articulate and activate communities of readers, writers, and artists. Neighboring Systems is the umbrella for Press On: Indie Publishing Fair, a free, annual event that brings together artists, poets, and independent publishers with local communities in Easthampton, MA. Neighboring Systems is a no profit home-publishing outfit currently co-run by Sean Collins and E. Maude Haak-Frendscho, started by Sean Collins in 2017 as a poetry reading series.

Neighboring Systems acknowledges that it is produced by settlers on Pocumtuc and Nipmuc ancestral and stolen lands in the Connecticut River Valley Area of Easthampton, MA.
